Dennis Isom
Infantry Captain, Vietnam WarCommissioned after graduating in 1966, Dennis Isom led Company A, 3rd Battalion, 8th Infantry during Operation Wayne Grey in Vietnam. When a platoon came under heavy fire in the Plei Trap Valley, he rushed forward to reinforce them. While aiding a wounded radio operator, he was killed in action, exemplifying decisive combat leadership.

Silver Star and Purple Heart Recipient, VietnamDuring a 1968 convoy ambush in Vietnam, First Lieutenant David Wilson returned to the kill zone to lead his men to safety despite being out of danger.
