Valor Guiding Troops Under FireAs an advisor to ARVN forces, Lt. David H. Baim earned the Bronze Star with Valor after a reinforced Viet Cong battalion ambushed his unit. He remained calm, directed the Vietnamese commander to regroup, and led a counterattack that broke the enemy assault.
